Program in Education Policy

Welcome to the Program in Education Policy

The Program in Education Policy (PEP) at Texas A&M University offers opportunities for professionals seeking careers in Education Services and Education Policy. Our goal is to provide research opportunities to aspiring education policy analysts, connect emerging education scholars to the resources needed to succeed after graduation, and develop high-quality research and programming to make a positive impact on education policy at the federal, state, and local levels.

For decades, many PEP scholars at Texas A&M have been actively involved in providing high-quality research and developing programs to help improve educational attainment from pre-kindergarten to higher education. Faculty, staff, and student contributions include providing valuable guidance and data on a variety of educational issues to the Texas Education Agency (TEA), US Department of Education, Independent School Districts (ISDs) across Texas, and the Legislative Budget Board.
